As a HNOM tradition to celebrate and honor Holy Week, sixth graders took part in a Seder meal to remember Jesus’ Last Supper. Students enjoyed lamb, matzoh, hard boiled eggs, and grape juice. A special thank you to Miss McEnaney for organizing, preparing, and hosting the meal!
In Mrs. Powell's 6th grade science class, students learn about the solar system, including moon phrases, the different planets, the sky's biggest star, and other galactic elements! Therefore, this Christmas season, 6th graders colored planet ornaments and topped their classroom tree with a star, which - of course - was a replica of the sun! Thanks for keeping holiday decorating educational and curriculum-based, Mrs. Powell!
