Dr. G. Bradley Bodine has served for over 30 years as music coordinator and composer-in-residence at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Center and is a senior lecturer at Purdue University. He holds degrees from The Evergreen State College, Pacific Lutheran University, and the University of Arizona. He studied composition with Daniel Asia, Stephen Scott, Gregory Youtz, and Ronald Hurst, OSB.
His award-winning compositions have been performed across the United States, Europe, Asia, and Australia. Highlights include Namaste: Concerto for Marimba and Percussion Ensemble, commissioned by eleven university percussion ensembles, and a setting of Psalm 110, commissioned for the ordination of Bishop Timothy L. Doherty. From 2009–2013, he was composer-in-residence for the Lafayette Symphony Orchestra.
Dr. Bodine also studied choral conducting with Wayne Hertz and Richard Sparks, attending the Choral Institute at Oxford and working in masterclasses with renowned conductors such as Paul Salamunovich, Ann Howard Jones, Robert Page, and Chanticleer.
